All Star Game logo screw up?

by 2 August 21, 2012 0 Comments

I was talking with a friend of mine last night about how psyched I am on the ASG logo and how the team now has a spotlight shining on it. He works at Citi Field and disagreed, saying that it pains him to look at everyday. He told me to go take a long look at it and I couldn't notice anything that seemed off. His complaint? The A's are a different font. As a graphic designer I do agree they should have been the same. Looks weird that they are both baseball styled fonts but completely different. The font used for the A S G should have been used throughout the words. Would have kept it consistent and more graphically sound. It's a little nit picky but I understand where he is coming from. What do you guys think?
