Tejada and Parnell in our RIP KID tees

by 2 March 25, 2012 0 Comments

This past Friday night on the MLB Network was the Mets episode of 30 clubs in 30 days. During the opening montage there was a quick clip of Tejada giving high fives to some teammates and later in the episode Bobby Parnell had a short interview with Al Leiter. They were both wearing our #8 RIP KID shirt to honor the great Gary Carter. Johan Santana was also wearing one under his warm up jacket but only I would really be able to notice that.  If you watch it again you could see the top of the 8 sticking out of his jacket. Awesome that the team has embraced the tribute and are continuing to wear the shirts since they debuted them during the Mets Spring Training opener game down in Port Saint Lucie. Keep Calm and Cheer On! LGM 2012!
