This is Ilya, she's been a fan since birth and her favorite player was Mookie Wilson. She already submitted her photo for the 2013 calendar voting. Think you have what it takes?
The 2012 calendar has been a huge success so it's obvious we need to release a 2013 edition. The "12 Months of Orange and Blue" is hung far and wide; bodegas in Bushwick, apartments in Australia and players lockers in Citi Field.
Like last year we will be letting the fans decide who makes the top 12 with an online vote. We have absolutely nothing to do with the selection process other than posting the photos and tallying the numbers. Votes register by IP address to keep it fair. Meaning you can only vote once per computer. Not like that dumb All Star Game process.
I can't stress this enough... we are looking for girls who are REAL FANS! While it's nice to look at a pretty girl on your wall, it's even better to know she is a part of the fan base and cares about the team. You need NO modeling experience as our photographer will help walk you through your shoot. What you do need is a recent photo to submit. We don't want to see a shoot you did 4 years ago. CURRENT PHOTO SUBMISSIONS ONLY! They don't have to be professional shots, but keep in mind these will be voted on. So send something nice and clear. Showing your team pride is a PLUS!
You don't have to live in the NY area but you must be able to travel here for your shoot. We'd also like you to be a part of special events we plan to promote the calendar and be available for appearances if they come up. For example our Miss December 2012, Lauren Rose, was a guest on the Boomer and Carton show (MSG/WFAN). So if you live farther away be prepared to do some traveling to the NY area if you are selected to be in the top 12.
So, think you have what it takes? Answer these questions and send your photos to The7Line@gmail.com
