Mets Blogger Tailgate this Saturday
This Saturday is the last late afternoon game of the season at Citi Field. What better way to enjoy the day than with a bunch of die hards with a common bond... the Mets.
Odds are you visit Mets Blog, Mets Police, On The Black , Mets Bro and The 7 Line so this will be an opportunity to put some faces behind the guys you've been keeping up with all season. We welcome all other bloggers and fans to show up as well. The more the merrier.
Earlier this year we met up before one of the late Sunday ESPN games in June and had a fairly decent turnout. Since this is a Saturday night I'd expect even more heads to show up.
We'll have the grill fired up and drinks flowing by 11am in the MTA lot across from Citi Field. Check the overhead map on the graphic above. The lot is located on the opposite side of Roosevelt Ave across from the stadium. West of the train boardwalk.
The game starts at 4pm so we'll have plenty of time to relax before heading in. Bring your A game because we'll be tossing some serious rounds of corn hole to kill the time. Challenge Kerel from On The Black, he got hooked at our last tailgate.
