Tailgate party this Saturday

UPDATE: Arrive early! The parking lot should be a zoo due to the US Open at the tennis center. Their fans share a parking lot with us and spots will unfortunately be limited.

WE’RE TAILGATING IN THE SOUTHFIELD (MTA) LOT BEFORE THE GAME THIS SATURDAY. Where's that? Look at the map above.

The parking lot is located on Roosevelt Avenue directly across from Citi’s rotunda entrance and west of the train boardwalk. Look for a sea of blue shirts. Ya really can’t miss us.

This is a BYO (bring your own) tailgate party. Bring some drinks, set up a grill and party with hundreds of other die hard Mets fans. The tailgate party is a great way to meet new T7LA members before the game. It’s fun. Swing by.

Things to remember: Sun block, ice, plastic cups and garbage bags.

PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES. THE PARKING LOT STAFF IS VERY NICE TO US. LET’S NOT MAKE THEIR JOBS ANY HARDER THAN THEY NEED TO BE.

WE’LL BE HEADED IN TO THE SEATS BY 3PM TO BE SETTLED BY THE NATIONAL ANTHEM. THE TAILGATE IS FUN, BUT THE REAL ATTRACTION IS THE GAME. LET’S BRING THE NOISE FROM FIRST PITCH TIL FINAL OUT.
