We're happy to announce the details for our trip to Cooperstown this summer! It's been a long time coming, but Mike Piazza will finally be inducted in to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Of course, we want to be present to honor the Mets great and we’ve worked out a fun and affordable option to paint the town Orange and Blue.

We teamed up with Rally Bus and Brewery Ommegang on this once in a lifetime experience. We'll depart from Citi Field early Saturday morning and head up the interstate to beautiful Cooperstown, NY. Thanks to the Mets, parking will be free at the ballpark. Once arrived, we'll have time to set up camp, and then head in to town for the baseball festivities. We'll have buses running every half hour back and forth from the brewery to town. You can also choose to hang back and enjoy yourselves on the brewery grounds for the day. Ommegang will have food and drink options available for purchase throughout the day along with entertainment at night.

Sunday morning, we'll pack up camp and load up the buses. We'll then be taken to the induction site for the ceremony. Upon the conclusion of the ceremony, we'll head back home to Citi Field. Please note that the town will be very congested before/after the ceremony and walking to and from the bus will be necessary. We'll get as close as possible, but please keep this in mind when booking the trip.

We reserved spots for 1,000 campers at Ommegang and camping will be exclusive just to those fans riding the bus. You will not be able to purchase JUST the camping portion of this weekend.

As cargo space on the bus is limited, each fan is permitted to bring two personal items. We'll only be gone for one night, so pack light and bring just your necessities. We're camping, not going to a nightclub. A tent, cooler or backpack would each count as one personal item. If you're coming with friends, team up on what you're bringing to condense your luggage.

BBQs, open flames, weapons, explosives, illicit substances, and pets are prohibited at Ommegang. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the brewery. Outside food and beverages are also allowed however glass is not, so please pack accordingly. In order to ensure the safety of brewery guests, staff, and grounds please know that all bags and coolers will be searched and you’ll be asked to dispose of prohibited items prior to entering the grounds.

Brewery Ommegang offers rustic, tent-camping only. No RVs, camping trailers, or cars are allowed on the camping grounds. Camping is not allowed in the parking areas as there are no hookups for camping vehicles. Potable water, port-a-potties, and hand-washing stations are available in the camping area and a shower trailer is located nearby.

Price per person is $116 for the round trip bus from Citi Field to Ommegang, shuttles to and from the campsite to town and the overnight camping.

Hope you'll join us! Let's go Mets!
