New tailgate spot!

We welcome all fans to join us as we celebrate on Opening Day. This should be a great gathering of loyalist as we prepare to cheer on our reigning NL champs!

If you've tailgated with us over the last few years you've become accustomed to the MTA lot across from Citi Field on Roosevelt Avenue. As our crew has grown, we've been taking up more and more spaces. The growth of the gatherings is a great thing, but we've become a headache for the flow of traffic.

While we love to have a fun time, we need to be courteous of other fans in the lot and of course the ballpark staff. The last thing they want to do is constantly tell us to keep the lanes clear. They have enough on their hands especially on days like Opening Day. Our last spot was pretty much directly in the center right near the entrance.

So... we're moving the party. We'll still be in the MTA lot, but on the East side of the overhead train boardwalk. Previously we were just West of it. This corner of the lot is a little more isolated and will give us more space to hang without clogging up traffic.

THE PARKING LOT IS SCHEDULED TO OPEN AT 10AM. LOOK FOR ORANGE SHIRTS. WE'LL BE EASY TO SPOT.

If you can imagine the lot without the cars up along the guardrail, you'll notice we have much more space. Also, the boardwalk is the perfect shelter from the sun and any unfortunate bad weather.

We'll have FREE FOOD available for all those fans who are joining us in the stands. Our friends from PIG GUY NYC will be on hand with the grub and it'll be first come first serve. They're bringing 4 pigs worth of meat. This will be the only supplied part of the tailgate, so please also bring supplies of your own.

Please keep in mind that this is a BYO party, so don't go scavenging through coolers that don't belong to you. The PIG GUY grub will go fast, so please come prepared. They'll be plenty of space for your own grill set ups.

PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES BEFORE HEADING INSIDE. Being Opening Day, none of us want to miss the ceremony and National Anthem. Start cleaning up around 11:45 to be at the seats by 12:30.
