A late night burn from the Mets twitter account

A late night burn from the Mets twitter account

The Mets have been losing a lot of baseball games lately. Losing in ways as fans we didn't even think possible. That's saying a lot. To say it's been rough to watch has been an understatement. I couldn't pry my eyelids open to watch that rain delayed 10pm start last night. Glad to see they took home the victory.

During game 2 of Mondays double header @kaitlyyynk was looking for some kind of answer to it all. Probably expecting no response.

In typical internet fashion, Tyler here saw this as his chance to slide in the convo.

Gotta love it. I can only imagine some of the shit that people tweet the Mets, but when the opportunity is there, you gotta reach out and grab it. Hitting the Mets with a scoring joke is just too easy, but after what led up to it, bravo to the Mets for hitting back below the belt.

Take the L on this one, Tyler.
