Another fun time with the squad out in Brooklyn. This was our second trip to MCU Park with T7LA and we hope it'll turn in to an annual thing. Last year the stars just didn't align with our schedules, but we hope to be back in '18.
Pretty sure we were the first group, or one of, to break in their new "Brooklyn Backyard". Cornhole, tents, couches, DJ, bleachers, jungle gym... a little something for everyone. Still not sure how they made any money on the package, but hey, not complaining. $55 got us the ticket, t-shirt, hat, two food vouchers and a 2.5 hour open bar.
We filmed some stuff for this coming Thursdays episode of Orange and Blue Thing. Check that out Thursday at 6pm eastern on Facebook.com/The7Line.
Full photo album posting soon on our Facebook page as well. As usual Drea did a great job, and the pics are gonna look awesome in our 2018 calendar.
In the end the Cyclones lost, but any time we're together is bound to be a fun time. Smiles all around, cold beers, baseball and fireworks. We'll be back for our charity softball tournament on September 30th. More details on that soon.
We're extremely saddened to hear that Rizky "Riz" Ridwan has passed. Riz was always a friendly face in the crowd and started cheering with The 7 Line Army a decade ago during the 2014 season. He hit San Francisco with us that year along with some games at Citi Field.
