You've seen and heard the promos in the past. If you watch/listen to the games, there's no way you couldn't. It was beat in to your brain for months prior. Heart, REO Speedwagon, and Nas, just to name a few have all played postgame concerts at Citi Field. I'm sure you remember.
Why this was posted just once on Twitter, once on Facebook, and one e-mail blast is very confusing. I actually missed it and had to scroll back.
If this was put together last minute, you'd still guess that the Mets would be going a bit harder on letting fans know it's going on. Even though Busta is past his heyday, I'm sure these performances don't come cheap.
Lucky for me, I was already hitting the game on Friday, so I'm looking forward to rhyming along to Gimme Some More like I'm rolling in my 1990 Plymouth Acclaim in the summer of '98. My Extinction Level Event tape was on heavy rotation back in the day.
We're heading back to Port Saint Lucie to kick off the 2025 season! Join The 7 Line Army on Saturday, February 22nd to watch the New York Mets take on the Houston Astros at Clover Park for Spring Training Opening Day.
