Our dude Herm has been drawing each home game he attends from a different angle at Citi Field this season.
"I just get them on Stubhub for the most part. Tickets are fairly inexpensive as of late."
Last night was his 69th and 70th, and this time he was in Section 134 in left field. That's a lot of art, and a ton of depressing baseball games.
I love when the SNY crew gives love to a hometown story. It's rare, but a fun change of pace, especially when you have like 10 hours of content to fill during a double header between two teams that are out of the race. KB was a pro at it, and Gelbs isn't too far behind.
Kelsey Wingert, who works for Fox Sports South ,went over for an interview in the top of the 4th.
"The Mets have been pretty weak this season, so it makes the time a little more exciting", Andrew told her.
Real cool to see Herm get some shine. He's a die hard Mets fan who has been on the art grind forever. Definitely follow his IG feed: @hermherman
Fun fact: Herm designed our Emoji Mr. Met shirt back in 2014 (restocking soon). It was one of our first MLB licensed products and has been in the rotation ever since on tees, hoodies, ladies, kids and accessories.
We're extremely saddened to hear that Rizky "Riz" Ridwan has passed. Riz was always a friendly face in the crowd and started cheering with The 7 Line Army a decade ago during the 2014 season. He hit San Francisco with us that year along with some games at Citi Field.
