MPOTD: Embroidered Tattoo
This is super cool. Tons of NY tats out there, but I've never seen an embroidered style. Not sure who the piece belongs to, but the ink was done by @markduhan at Skin Deep Ink in CT.
There's a lot of room for error on a style like this, and cheers to Mark for pulling it off flawlessly. Use the wrong artist and it would just look like sketchy line work. Great shading with just the right amount of white thrown in to really make the embroidered patch look realistic.
