MPOTD: The Ghost Of Queens Past

MPOTD: The Ghost Of Queens Past

Came across this cool IG account yesterday. @TheGhostOfQueensPast: "Providing a series of photos of Queens from the 18 & 1900s." Check out their feed for hundreds of throwbacks.

The photographer is unknown, but the image is awesome. If you take out the old ballpark, you'd never know the subjects were headed to a game. Thankfully, style has changed drastically since the 60's and suits, skirts and top hats are now a rarity for baseball fans.

I got married at the ballpark, and unless one of my friends does the same, or I end up owning a minority stake in the team, that's the last time I'll wear a suit to Citi Field.
