BACK AT IT! Kick off the 2023 home season with us at Citi Field on Friday April 7th. The game is at 1:10pm so plan to be there bright and early.
The Mets take on the Marlins, and as usual we'll be hanging out before in the Marina Lot. We don't want to promote a specific start time since this is a holiday. Some people might be waiting there already, or they will be at sunrise. Use your judgement and also keep rush hour/game traffic in mind. Just be there early.
We'll start wrapping up around noon to get inside before the Opening Ceremonies. Plan accordingly for you and yours.
Just in case of bad weather, there is also a large covered area under the highway that'll keep you dry if needed, so don't be scared if a sprinkle is in the forecast.
Swing by to see some friends, maybe meet some new ones, and responsibly wash down a couple cold ones. We'll have a cooler of free assorted beverages available while they last. Don't be shy, come grab one or two.
If you're unsure where the Marina Lot is, you can type "Marina East, Corona, NY 11368" in to Google Maps, or look at this map...
Even if you're not sitting with us, you're more than welcome to come by!
If you'd like to bring your own grills, drinks, and snacks, of course you're more than welcome to, BUT please respect the lot and make sure you CLEAN UP after yourselves.
Also, nobody likes a mooch, so please don't go rummaging through coolers that don't belong to you (besides the big one we're bringing at the T7L Truck). If you're feeling generous and you'd like to share, that's totally your call.
SEE YOU IN THE LOT!
We'll be spending Opening Weekend in Houston! Hopefully you'll be one of the 1,300 Mets fans kicking the season off with us in Texas! The Astros didn't have enough availability to fit us for Opening Day, so we locked up 1,300 tickets to game 2 of the season on March 29th.
