Opening Day 2024 Tailgate Party at Citi Field!

Opening Day 2024 Tailgate Party at Citi Field!

by The 7 Line March 05, 2024 0 Comments

UPDATE: The Opening Day game against Milwaukee has been postponed due to forecasted rain. It will be rescheduled for Friday, March 29 at 1:40 p.m.

Everything you see below still applies besides the date. SEE YOU ON FRIDAY MORNING!

Come kick off the 2024 baseball season with us on Thursday March 28th at Citi Field in the Marina Lot.

ALL FANS WELCOME!

The Mets take on the Brewers at 1:10pm so we expect fans to start showing up around 8 am. If you can't swing that early, just get there when ya get there, but keep in mind, it's Opening Day so traffic and congestion will be worse the closer you to get to first pitch.

We'll start wrapping up around 12:15 to get inside before first pitch.

Just in case of bad weather, there is also a large covered area under the highway that'll keep us dry if needed, so don't be scared if a sprinkle is in the forecast.

Swing by to catch up with friends, maybe meet some new ones, and responsibly wash down a couple cold ones. We'll have a stack of free Coronas while they last. Don't be shy, come grab one or two. Corona is the official beer sponsor of The 7 Line Army.

FOOD OPTIONS! PRE-ORDERS ONLY!

We're lucky to have two talented members of The 7 Line Army who are crafty in the kitchen that will be blessing us with their deliciousness on Opening Day.

You need to order ahead of time so they can prep. No sales will be done in the lot!

Freddy P will be back in the mix with his wide array of creative empanadas. Use the code LFGM when ordering, and that will give you 20% off your purchase. Bacon egg and cheese, sausage and peppers, mac and cheese, traditional chicken or beef, vegetarian crumblers, and more. Frederico's Pastelitos has an option for whatever you're in the mood for.  GET YOUR ORDER STARTED NOW.

Fresh to the lot with be Lexi Martone's new Blackthorn venture! Lexi teamed up with local pizzeria Mario's to bring us a creative selection of pizza (plus the Home Run Apple Cupcakes and Foul Balls look delicious). Both dairy and vegan options available. ORDER ONLINE HERE, and SELECT THE PICKUP OPTION (for the tailgate).

If you're unsure where the Marina Lot is, you can type "Marina East, Corona, NY 11368" in to Google Maps, or look at this map...

Even if you're not sitting with us, you're more than welcome to come by!

If you'd like to bring your own grills, drinks, and snacks, of course you're more than welcome to, BUT please respect the lot and make sure you CLEAN UP after yourselves.

Also, nobody likes a mooch, so please don't go rummaging through coolers that don't belong to you (besides the big one we bring). If you're feeling generous and you'd like to share, that's totally your call.

SEE YOU IN THE LOT!
