We're returning to Miami on Saturday August 11th with 900 Mets fans. This will be our 92nd MLB outing, and 4th road game of the season. So far in 2018 we hit Atlanta (L), Arizona (W), and Toronto (W).
Back in 2014, our inaugural trip to Marlins Park consisted of 400 fans, and we saw deGrom's first career victory. This time we have almost the same sections down the RF line, but with double the manpower. With the acoustics in that place, this should be a wild one.
Options have always been super limited around the ballpark as far as pre-gaming is concerned, but NightLife Brewing Company is quickly changing that. This is their first year in business outside Marlins Park, and they worked out some solid specials for The 7 Line Army.
The game is at 7:10pm, and the doors to the brewery will be open by 1pm. We should be rolling through around 3pm.
The brewery itself isn't gigantic, but they have additional seating out front with tables and umbrellas. The Marlins also have an open container policy, so we don't need to limit ourself to just the footprint of the brewery. You can grab a beer and hit the food trucks, or hang out anywhere else in the pavilion. It's super laid back.
In order to take part in the specials, you gotta wear your special GONE FISHING event t-shirt. So don't forget it.
The ballpark entrance is a stones throw away from the brewery, so there isn't a super rush to get inside, but we should take our group photo at 6:30 and then head in. DON'T MISS IT! This should leave us enough time to get in to the park and to our seats by lineups and the National Anthem.
Special thanks to NightLife Brewing Company for hosting us. As always, we're really looking forward to it.
Don't forget to tip your bartenders!
We're heading back to Port Saint Lucie to kick off the 2025 season! Join The 7 Line Army on Saturday, February 22nd to watch the New York Mets take on the Houston Astros at Clover Park for Spring Training Opening Day.
