RIP Kevin Carroll

It's with a heavy heart that we're sad to announce that we've lost a loyal member of The 7 Line Army family.

Kevin Carroll, of Rutherford, NJ passed away peacefully on January 5, 2024 after a valiant battle with cancer. Kevin is survived by his pride and joy, partner in head-banging, travel companion, and son – Tyler Carroll. Our hearts go out to Tyler and the whole Carroll family during this tough time.

Kevin and his son have been part of our crew for years at both home and on the road.

Friends will be received Monday, January 8th, from 2PM-4PM & 6PM-9PM at the Ippolito Stellato Funeral Home in Lyndhurst, NJ.

Funeral Service Tuesday 10AM at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

As Kevin was happiest in a Mets jersey or a concert tee shirt, he requested that you attend the wake/funeral in your ‘everyday clothes’. Jackets/Ties not required.

In lieu of flowers, please ‘teach a kid to bunt’ by making a donation to the Lyndhurst Little League via the Lyndhurst Parks Department at 250 Cleveland Ave. Lyndhurst, NJ 07071.

We will be making a special patch to honor the memory of Kevin. All proceeds will be donated to Tyler or to the charity of the family's choice. More details on that as they're finalized.

Thank you, Mets fans!

Despite the ending, I had such a fun season. Thanks for being a part of it with me either at Citi Field, on the road, or at the Playwright. I met so many new fans this year. Not new to the Mets, but new to hanging with T7LA. It was a great time. Every game new faces would show up, and that's always encouraged. I know it's tough for some people to throw themselves in to a new situation, but I promise we don't bite. One of my favorite things about The 7 Line Army is watching strong friendships form from it.

Postseason Tailgates At Citi Field!

We'll be tailgating in our usual spot in the Marina Lot before all home Postseason games! Fans should be rolling in at least 4 hours before first pitch. BE THERE! As always, you don't need to be sitting with The 7 Line Army to tailgate together.
