Sigh. LGM 2026.

It took me a few days to let it simmer, but I've turned the page to 2026. Literally. I hoped to not start The 7 Line Army Calendar layout already, but here we are. The Mets have a lot of work to do on their part to right this ship. There was way too much talent on their roster to flounder like they did. Steve, Alex, and Stearns have vowed to do better and I trust they will. There will likely be some big changes this offseason.

For us though. The fans did their jobs. You showed up in record numbers this year at Citi Field. The ballpark was packed for almost every game and it was great to see.

Looking through photos of this season brings a smile to my face even during the darkest days. We always try to put our best foot forward and control what is within our reach. Fun, and that usually starts in the parking lot. Of course it's way more enjoyable when we can spend a day at the ballpark and combine that with a win. Hopefully way more of that in 2026! I'd love to make the tailgates bigger and better. If you have suggestions on how to get that done, I'm all ears. All are welcome at our tailgate parties even if you aren't sitting with us that day. Montauk and Blue Point are almost a lock to sponsor us again. Come on down!

So what's next for The 7 Line Army?

- We're working on the 2026 schedule now. Once that is set our existing members will have the option to renew their seats. We'll then fill any open seats with new members. If you'd like to join us, make sure you're on our mailing list to get a heads up with all the details. T7LA membership includes the same seat for each of our home outings, an official membership jersey with your name/number, option to purchase a full Postseason strip, pre-sales for high demand road games, and invites to any special offers that might come our way throughout the year.

- We're in talks with road teams, but they aren't confirmed yet. Unfortunately the three ballparks still on our list don't line up for next season (a weekend series). We have done weekday outings that are close to NY, but Detroit, Arlington, and Cleveland are a bit of a hike. We want to check those off when the time is right. As of now if the stars align with their Group Sales Departments we have Arizona, Miami, and Philly currently on the radar.

Thank you for your loyalty to the Mets and T7LA. Next season will be our 15th season cheering together. Looking forward to some more good times with you.

Bad news about our hopeful 2026 @The7LineArmy plans. Just had a call with the Padres. They'd welcome us back, but now cap all road groups to 300 tickets.
