Spring Training Meet Up

We decided to switch things up for this year down in Port Saint Lucie. Hop Life Brewing opened their doors last year, and we've heard great things about their beer, vibe, and hospitality.

WHERE: Hop Life Brewing - 679 NW Enterprise Dr. #101 - Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34986

SPECIALS: Hop Life has 20 beers on tap along with local ciders, a large selection of wines, and sangrias. Select beverages will be on special for $4.

WHEN: Friday February 22nd, 5pm - ?

WHAT: Mixer the night before Mets Spring Training Opening Day. Food trucks, live music, tasty beers, tailgate games, and free T7L giveaways.

Why no more bowling mixer? That was fun for the last couple years, but in the nature of meeting new people, it wasn't the best. If you were on lane 10, odds are you'd never say what's up to someone in lane 2. Kinda defeats the purpose of the whole thing. We should be able to mingle a bit more at the brewery.

What about kids? Kids are totally welcome at Hop Life, and the outdoor space will be set up with live music, food trucks, and tailgate games like corn hole. 

I'm picturing more of a tailgate vibe for this, which is perfect for our crew. Come solo or with a crew, just introduce yourself and jump right in.

Let's get the good times rolling before our outing at the ballpark the next day. Meet new people, dabble in some local fare, and kick off the 2019 baseball season with The 7 Line Army. 

We have 800 tickets to the game the next day, and even if you're not sitting with us, you're highly encouraged to hit Hop Life. Let's turn this in to a meet up for all Mets fans in the area looking for a good time. 

The brewery opens up early, but let's say 5pm for the get together. I know a lot of us are traveling in that day. So get settled at the hotel and then head over.

Keep in mind that Port Saint Lucie is a pretty small place, so you never know who from the Mets might show up.
