No, you don't need to run, but you can if you want to.
IT'S ALL GOING DOWN ON TUESDAY JULY 23RD AT AROOGA'S IN PATCHOGUE!
We're teaming up with a few Long Island crews on a fun run before the game. That will be at 6pm. Then we're all gonna stick around to watch the Mets take on the Yankees at 7.
You can run a 5K, you can run longer, or you can just go for a walk around the block. Everyone willing to get outside for a little bit is welcome to join.
Shout out to Sayville Running Company, Milltown Runners, Move Fast Lift Heavy, CoHo, and Arooga's for teaming up with us on what should be a really fun night. If you're in the running community or not, this event as a whole is just about bringing positive like minded individuals together for a good time.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO RUN, PLEASE CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP. IT'S FREE, WE'RE JUST GETTING A HEAD COUNT TOGETHER FOR THE BAR.
If you can swing by earlier, Darren will be a guest on The Social Capital Podcast with CoHo's Rob Cutrone at 5pm. If you miss it live and in person, you can catch the episode afterwards on Spotify or Youtube.
If you just want to skip all the exercising, just come watch the game because you're a Mets or Yankees fan. That's perfectly cool too.
Arooga's will have drink and food specials for everyone to indulge in, runners or not.
We'll be spending Opening Weekend in Houston! Hopefully you'll be one of the 1,300 Mets fans kicking the season off with us in Texas! The Astros didn't have enough availability to fit us for Opening Day, so we locked up 1,300 tickets to game 2 of the season on March 29th.
