We teamed up with elitefeats to bring you the first of hopefully many 7K runs in Queens! This run/walk will take place on the morning of Saturday July 13th. Run, walk, participate virtually, just get your body moving!

We hope you'll join us for this fun experience through Flushing Meadows Corona Park, up to the site of our beloved Shea Stadium, and back.

If you're already planning to cheer with The 7 Line Army that day (the Mets take on the Rockies at 4:10pm), we'll celebrate the run at our tailgate, then head in to the ballpark. As always, the more the merrier at our tailgates! We'll post details about those game tickets soon.

Please don't be intimidated by the 7k distance! That measures out to 4.3 miles. Most "fun" runs are 5K (3.1), so this is just a tad more. The good thing is, you have many months to prepare!

If you're new to running, start with that first mile now and build up. If you're an old runner and you're in "retirement", it's time to make a comeback!

To those who have already been asking: Yes, there will be a virtual option to participate if you can't make it to Queens. You really should try to though...

We're sure runners will race the course, but you're welcome to walk it if that's more your speed. We're trying to promote a fun, positive, healthy experience, while helping raise money for a great cause that's close to our heart.
