Word on the street is that deGrom and Wright are sporting the same haircut, and no, David didn't get hair extensions.
During the 2015 WS Jacob told the media that he was just about done with it, and would get a cut after the series, but let it rock for two more seasons. “It’s driving me nuts. I’ve got to get rid of it.” I guess enough was finally enough.
Last year Noah and Jacob teamed up with AXE on an endorsement deal and it seemed like the duo would seemingly keep the locks forever. At least until the checks stopped coming in. That era seems to be over leaving Noah and Gsellman with the last pony tails in Queens.
Now unless there were two David and Jacob look a likes leaving a barber shop in midtown a little while ago, this is true.
Just waiting on some photo confirmation.
UPDATE 12:26pm: The parking lot attendant across the street got this ball autographed by the guys. He's not allowed to take photos with the clientele, so no photos with Jacob himself. This would be a strange thing to lie about, so gonna go ahead and believe it's true.
UPDATE 7:00pm: There's some sort of season ticket holders event at the ballpark tonight, and Jose posted this photo on his Snapchat. The locks are officially gone.
We're kicking the day off on Saturday April 26th with some miles around DC. Start your morning off on a positive foot, then sightsee or do whatever else you have planned before the Mets/T7LA pre-game party. We picked a slightly shorter route than our usual fun runs. JOIN US!
Swing by the K Korner on Tuesday April 22nd before the Mets take on the Phillies. If you're sitting with us or not, you can enjoy discounted Montauk draft beers by rocking T7L merch to the bar.
Listen, I too was an idiot from time to time. Have one or two extra beers and do some dumb shit I probably shouldn't have. Last season we were the Team Of Fun. Let's be that. Certainly not this.
