RIP Ed Koch

by 2 February 01, 2013

I was watching NY1 this morning and heard this quote from a caller "he loved NY, NY loved him" and it made me think of my first mayor. I was born in 1980 when Ed was already in office. Since his reign ended in 1989 I didn't know much of his politics, but I remember watching him on the news with his cheerful fun take on things. He seemed like a real peoples guy who was genuinely loved by most. RIP ED KOCH.
