There's not much I can say about Ralph that you don't already know. I unfortunately never met the man, but was fortunate enough to listen to and watch him as I was learning about this game I've grown to love. He will always be a legend in all respects.
Someone on Twitter suggested it and I like the idea. You have the Pepsi Porch in right, Big Apple in center & Kiner's Korner in left #Mets— Andrew Harts (@AndrewHarts) February 6, 2014
As pointed out on Twitter and Facebook by numerous folks; a fitting tribute from the team would be to rename a portion of the ballpark in his honor.
Visually this left field "Korner" might be a good choice.
Come out to our tailgate party on June 18th before the Mets take on the Marlins at Citi Field. The game starts at 4:10pm which is perfect for a pre-game meet up. Swing by to see some friends, maybe meet some new ones, and responsibly wash down a couple cold ones.
