What a game! As Gary said during the broadcast, the Phillies fans gave up on trying to drown us out. From the first pitch the to last out in the 14th inning we gave everything we had to the game. The atmosphere was electric, and we all fed off each other while cheering on the boys in Orange & Blue. In the end it was a fight against the bullpens and our Captain came through with an RBI single to score the winning run. Other Mets fans heard the ruckus and moved their seats to come join the party. We definitely made some new friends who will turn in to future "troops". Let's not forget how big of a part Ruben Tejada played in this W. He was on base 5 times and even put one over the fence for a solo shot early in the game. Thanks to everyone who took part in this outing. Planning the travel arrangements for the 6 charter buses was something we've never tackled and (for the most part) it went off without a hitch. A couple of you enjoyed Philly so much and decided to stay at the bar after our one hour departure curfew. Thanks to the Mets for their parking spaces, McFadden's Citi Field location for hosting our meet up in the morning, Peter Pan Bus Company for keeping us safe, McFadden's Citizens Bank Park location for the pre-game hospitality AND ALL OF YOU FOR COMING! Look forward to cheering with you all in just 6 short days in SAN FRANCISCO! See ya on the left coast, guys! LGM! LGM! LGM!
