Received an e-mail this morning from a fan named Ben in California. This is what makes these road games extra special for those fans who don't get a chance to see their favorite team in NY. Thanks for joining us Ben! See you at the next one!
Darren, I just wanted to take a minute to thank you again for setting up the trip to San Francisco. I met you briefly after the game, but I think it was too soon to celebrate how awesome the outing was, after such a brutal loss. As I told you, my wife, daughter (two years old), and I live in Sacramento. We have only been to Citi once (we saw two games in 2010), so this was an awesome opportunity to FEEL like we were at a Mets home game. The atmosphere was perfect. We made so many new friends and the people around us were so kind to my daughter. It felt like we were a part of a large family. We went to the Sunday game too, and it wasn't the same. There was no one there to sing songs about Daniel Murphy, or Duda, or chant "Let's Go Mets." My wife and I were talking about it, and we are going to make The 7 Line Army road games a YEARLY TRADITION! Keep it up! PLEASE! Thank you again brother! We are huge fans! And I can't wait for my 1986 Spring Training shirt...get home and start printing!!! - Ben, Brittan, and Eden Barnholdt
Nobody realized that he wasn’t just at Flushing Meadows Park to take photos and high-four runners this year, he was there to race. Mr. Met casually set a world record at The 7 Line 7K. And the best part? He never said a word about it.
We're back! Our first Saturday pregame of the season. The boys have been playing less than expected lately, but hopefully they turn it around in the coming days. No matter what, we're undefeated at tailgating. Come hang out.
Opening Day 2026! Queens is starting to thaw out after this winters weather, and we can't wait to celebrate a new season at Citi Field with you before the Mets take on the Pirates.
