UPDATE (April 9th): Thanks to your support we have over $8,000 to spend on meals for Good Samaritan Hospital!
Thanks to your support of our gift card fundraiser, we were able to raise over $8k to spend on meals for the staff of Good Samaritan Hospital on Long Island. The first of many meals was delivered today. Just a small token of our appreciation to these living superheroes! pic.twitter.com/MIsxEWB7FB

We have many first responders in The 7 Line Army, and a lot of them are working around the clock in the heart of this terrible pandemic. It's an enormous job, and the bravery they are displaying is heroic.
Besides just staying home to help flatten the curve, we can try to bring a little comfort to some of our friends who need it most.
We have three fans in particular who are nurses at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip on Long Island. Katie, Danielle, and Jaime met through work, but have bonded outside their job over many Mets games. They've joining The 7 Line Army on countless occasions at both Citi Field, Spring Training, and on the road.
Saying thank you is such an understatement right now, and my heart goes out to everyone putting their own health on the line in the face of danger.
The hospitals are so overrun that the staff has little time to sit and eat. Many local restaurants have stepped in to provide meals, and it's definitely been very helpful.
So here's what we're going to do. The 7 Line website is up and running, and folks have been shopping here and there (much appreciated), but we haven't been actively promoting much of anything lately.
What we are going to promote right now though is GIFT CARDS, and every gift card sold will be matched. We'll take that $ and purchase meals that will then be delivered to the girls and their co-workers at Good Samaritan Hospital.
The gift card options are $10, $20, $50, or $100, and they are instantly e-mailed. Use it right away if you'd like, or save it until something catches your eye.
If you'd like to be a part of this donation, we'll match the gift card sales until Wednesday April 8th at midnight, and then let the Good Samaritan hospital staff pick restaurants they'd like to order from.
The more we collect, the more meals we'll be able to buy for them.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE OUT THERE ON THE FRONT LINES! THIS TOO SHALL PASS, AND BECAUSE OF THEM, IT WILL.
We're heading back to Port Saint Lucie to kick off the 2025 season! Join The 7 Line Army on Saturday, February 22nd to watch the New York Mets take on the Houston Astros at Clover Park for Spring Training Opening Day.
