This holiday season, we're hoping to change the luck of some needy families in our community. Team up with us to make a difference.
This morning as I was getting my daughter ready for school I was thinking about her Christmas list. While Santa surely isn't going to get her everything she's hoped for, she'll still be a happy little girl come December 25th. Unfortunately many of our neighbors don't have that same ability each year, and I can't even imagine that feeling.
I was able to do some research and just got off the phone with Brian from Toys Of Hope. They are based in Huntington and their mission is to provide toys, books, clothing, activities and other items to needy and homeless children and their families.
The idea here is to sponsor at the very least one family in the area. Surely they don't need to be Met fans, but we're going to look over their lists with Toys Of Hope and see what we can check off for them. We'll also put together a bundle of goods that the kids might be really excited for. We'll be asking our friends we work with at New Era, Majestic, and the Mets if they'd like to chip in as well.
Here is where you come in. If you'd like to help sponsor a family, or have new toys that you'd like to contribute, we'll be accepting donations, or you can have them delivered to us.
Please e-mail us at info@the7line.com if you'd like to help, and we'll coordinate the best day/time for you to drop off.Comments will be approved before showing up.
You're officially invited to meet up with your fellow Mets fans at Hop Life Brewing on Opening Day Eve in Port Saint Lucie. Wear T7L and get your FIRST BEER FREE. Make plans now to kick off the 2025 season with us.
We hope you'll join us for the 2nd annual T7L7K! The inaugural event far exceeded our expectations and we know 2025 will be even greater. Run (or walk) with us through Flushing Meadows Corona Park, up to the Shea Stadium base paths, and back.
