Is the Mets bullpen cart making a comeback? One was spotted Sunday morning outside Citi Field's Lot A. Mets fan Kevin Roth tweeted out his discovery while heading over for a pre-game cocktail at McFadden's. In his words, "how else do u expect me to watch a Jerry Blevins start? LOL."
@Cut4 I don’t want to get anyone too excited but... is this happening?! @Mets pic.twitter.com/1FMyUsF640

The DBacks were the first in MLB to bring back the retro cart earlier this season, and at the time it seemed as though some other teams might hop on board as well. I was definitely pushing for it.
We got the 💰 ready, @Mets. We'll pay for the bullpen cart and drop it off tomorrow. REPLAY: https://t.co/WWitKfdZOx pic.twitter.com/Ck3IvRbOxd

While it would be awful timing for the Mets to start using one of their own, I'm sure something like this doesn't just happen over night. Maybe they ordered it after the hot start and it just got delivered? Who knows. It looks awesome though.

I'm all for the bullpen cart. While this team doesn't need more distractions, at this point it certainly can't hurt much. Roll it out, guys.
