HANGIN' WITH THE 7 LINE ARMY
You break my heart season after season
I cried a little when David was leavin'
In the pouring rain, I sit in the stands
I'm a New York Mets Fan
I'm taking public transit
I don't care if I sit
Going out to Citi Field
That's where it's really real
I wanna hear the crow roar
I wanna see the Mets score!
Today is gonna be just fine
Hangin' with The 7 Line
Yeah! I'm living for the shout
Heeeeee struck him out!
I'm the number one fan
Of Darren and Rally Man
Something for what it's worth
I can still smell the dirt
I don't care what you say
I still miss Shea
Hope it's not a pitching duel
A deGrom game is really cool
Ya gotta score! C'mon guys,
Someone make the apple rise
Just before the rain fall
I caught myself a foul ball
For the 7th inning stretch
LET'S GO METS!
So wave the banners, fly the Mets flag
Travel to a rival city and brag
Outta the way, man, this aint a parade
The General said, "Invade!"
I wanna play baseball in the fall
You can make us all feel 10 foot tall
Take us to the promised land, in our dream
We want a World Series team!
It's the bottom of the 9th, with 2 outs
This is what my life is really all about
Another win, there it is - take a look
PUT IT IN THE BOOKS!
I'm taking pubic transit
I don't care if I sit
Today is gonna be just fine
Hangin' with The 7 Line
I made it through another season
I put up with everybody's teasin'
I get a ticket, when I can
I'm a NEW YORK METS fan!
