Our boy Andrew "Herm" Hermida has been all over the Mets art game for years, and on November 16th he's hosting a show in NYC to display all of his 2019 work.
Herm drew every Met home game this year from different locations all around Citi Field, along with both Subway Series games in the Bronx. Each piece includes his perspective, the games outcome, and other random tidbits about the day.
Along with the individual game pieces, Herm will be displaying drawings of players, fans, vendors, tasty food, and more. He tried to get a little of everything on paper this season. All in all, around 150 drawings will be on display, and everything will be priced for purchase.
Instead of paper on Fridays, Herm used the free shirt of the day from the Mets as his canvas. Great idea and super creative.
The space will be open from 11am - 10pm, with a reception celebration starting at 5. Hot dogs and drinks will be served.
Try your best to make it out! Congrats Herm!
Kick your game day off with us! The Mets will take on the Phillies and we'll be hanging out in the Marina West Lot before heading in to Citi. No matter what happens on the field, we're undefeated at tailgating. Swing by!
Swing by the new Willets Point Brewery on Wednesday June 10th before the Mets take on the Cardinals!
Two buy one get one free offers are up for grabs! Jump on either or both while supplies last!
