Herm Run Mets Art Show In NYC

Our boy Andrew "Herm" Hermida has been all over the Mets art game for years, and on November 16th he's hosting a show in NYC to display all of his 2019 work.

NOVEMBER 16th 2019 Let’s party and hang out with all the drawings from the 2019 @mets season! Thank you to all for following along as I tackled this Mets goal of mine. The 2019 was a memorable one in my ways, and I was lucky enough to capture it all with these freckly hands. If you wanted to own a drawing, this is your chance. Everything is available for purchase. Looking forward to seeing everyone and @ninusu is making hot dogs for all!! 🌭

Herm drew every Met home game this year from different locations all around Citi Field, along with both Subway Series games in the Bronx. Each piece includes his perspective, the games outcome, and other random tidbits about the day.

Game 80: What an awesome night! Got some spicy chicken sandwich compliments of @cmacksays & @sweetchicklife Got to draw on the scoreboard! Thanks for the pics @sabbathwolf & @nancyandmj Oh! Along with the individual game pieces, Herm will be displaying drawings of players, fans, vendors, tasty food, and more. He tried to get a little of everything on paper this season. All in all, around 150 drawings will be on display, and everything will be priced for purchase.

Instead of paper on Fridays, Herm used the free shirt of the day from the Mets as his canvas. Great idea and super creative.

The space will be open from 11am - 10pm, with a reception celebration starting at 5. Hot dogs and drinks will be served.
