We just whipped up a last minute bus trip to DC for Opening Day!
THIS IS NOT AN OUTING, so you'll need to grab your own tickets to the game, but we got the transportation covered.
When we arrive in DC we'll shoot over to The Bullpen to pre-game, or you can shoot inside the ballpark once gates open. What you do will be up to you, but you're encouraged to hang if you'd like.
Thanks to our friends at Rally Bus for setting up the listing, and to the Mets for assisting with the parking lot details.
The bus is a fun time. Bring snacks, drinks, change of clothes. Whatever you'd like. The bus is secure when we head in to the game. NO GLASS BOTTLES.
WHEN: Thursday March 28th
WHAT TIME: The game is at 1pm, so we're leaving at 6am from Flushing. You can park in the MTA Southfield lot for the commuter daily rate ($6).
WHY: Cheer for the Mets down in DC on Opening Day
PRICE: $65 for the round-trip from Citi Field to Nationals Park
AVAILABILITY: The bus holds 55, we can add a second bus as long as we can fill it. If you definitely want to go, purchase NOW
TICKETS TO THE GAME: Hit the Nationals site, Stub Hub, etc. That's on you.
We depart from DC to get back to Flushing 45 minutes after the game.
We'll be spending Opening Weekend in Houston! Hopefully you'll be one of the 1,300 Mets fans kicking the season off with us in Texas! The Astros didn't have enough availability to fit us for Opening Day, so we locked up 1,300 tickets to game 2 of the season on March 29th.
