At every home game at Citi Field, the Mets salute the "Veteran of the Game." A player presents the honoree with an American flag that flew over Citi Field and Citi Vision plays a segment showcasing the soldier's achievements while serving in the military. Mets.com

Drea Ortado Goode (@dreagoodestudios) shoots most of the game photos we post, and puts together The 7 Line Army's annual calendar. She captured this moment back in August during the Subway Series. T7LA tipping their caps to the veteran of the game.

Thank you to everyone who serves, has served or will in the future.
