MPOTD: Concrete Jungle
I didn't think that last one could be topped, but it was. @surfliz1 posted this on Thursday to her IG, and the clear sky provided a perfect view of Manhattan in the distance.
I love that this shot gives a nice perspective of the Iron Triangle as well. They're making progress, slowly clearing out the decades of trash and grime to prep for what is hopefully a fun new neighborhood (that will also be home to my eventual bar). The 7 Line Saloon (or whatever it's called) is going to be awesome.
One day, I'll get this lucky and snap a pic of my own. Dozens of flights in and out of LGA in my 36 years, and not once flew over Shea or Citi. Gary Cohen said on SNY the other night that the flight pattern in to LaGuardia changed recently. Hopefully, I'll get the chance soon.
