Pitchers and catchers officially report to Mets Spring Training Monday, but that's usually just a formality. A lot of guys have been down at camp for weeks, and while the deadline on paper is February 12th, it looks like most of the starting rotation hopefuls are already there. Seems like in some cases, if you're on time, you're late.
The above was shot by Anthony Causi, and it's been making the rounds on social media. Re-posting a photo you find in a Google image search (when the photographer is unknown) is one thing, but if you screenshot something and repost, give the photographer their credit. It's the right thing to do. Great work as always, Anthony.
With question marks all around the diamond, if this team is going to compete, it all starts with the pitching. We limped to the Wild Card on the arms of Lugo/Gsellman in 2016, and we all saw what happened last year. Home runs are beautiful, but W's start in the arms.
Mets fans everywhere felt unstoppable when we thought the team was stacked with Aces. We need that feeling back, and it could be right around the corner.
Join us for a fun run (or walk) 5K the morning of The 7 Line Army outing in Pittsburgh. If you’re not feeling the whole route, just cut it short and head back to the ballpark. All paces, and distances welcome.
Kick off your weekend at our tailgate on Saturday June 14th! You don't need to be sitting with The 7 Line Army to tailgate together. Let's get the good vibes started in the parking lot and hopefully they continue until last pitch. Food, drinks, games, music and more in the Marina Lot.
Our 3rd trip to PNC Park with The 7 Line Army is set for Saturday June 28th. We're rolling with over 1,400 fans, and we'd love to see as many of your amazin' faces at the pre-game as possible.
