Spring Training Meet Up 2022

UPDATE: This is unfortunately cancelled due to the ongoing lockout. Such a bummer. Hopefully we're down there for Spring Training 2023...

Of course this entire post is dependent on the lockout.... fingers crossed the table is set, and the ink is dry in time to start Spring Training on time.

Much like everything else these last two years, there's nothing else we can do besides prepare. In our eyes, the show must go on until we're told otherwise.

We had so much fun the night before Spring Training Opening day back in 2019 and 2020 at Hop Life Brewing, so we decided to re-up for 2022. Great location, wide open outdoor space, a brand new kitchen, games, live music, and more.

This year we sold 1,200 to the game, and you're all invited. Make plans now to get to Hop Life the night before to officially kick the season off with us! Even if you're not sitting with us, if you're in town, make plans to come by.

SPECIALS: Hop Life has 24 beers on tap along with local ciders, a large selection of wines, sangrias, and adult slushies. Select beverages will be on special for $4.

WHEN: Saturday February 26th, 5pm - ?

WHAT: Mixer the night before Mets Spring Training Opening Day. Scratch kitchen, live music, tasty beers, tailgate games, and free T7L giveaways.

What about kids? Kids are totally welcome at Hop Life, and the outdoor space will be set up with live music, and tailgate games like corn hole.

Our get togethers at Hop Life have a total tailgate vibe. Come solo or with a crew, just introduce yourself and jump right in.

The brewery opens at noon, but let's say 5pm for the get together. We know a lot of us are traveling in that day, so get settled at the hotel and then head over.

Keep in mind that Port Saint Lucie is a pretty small place, so you never know who from the Mets might show up.

If you're sitting with us, just a reminder:

- Nothing is mailed

- Your tickets are digital! (You purchased them through our link on the Mets site)

- Your special event shirsey will be picked up at the game before the gates open for us. The St. Lucie Mets will have a very organized process.

- If by some unfortunate chance the game doesn't happen, we'll work it out with the team, and reach out with a plan.

Despite the ending, I had such a fun season. Thanks for being a part of it with me either at Citi Field, on the road, or at the Playwright. I met so many new fans this year. Not new to the Mets, but new to hanging with T7LA. It was a great time. Every game new faces would show up, and that's always encouraged. I know it's tough for some people to throw themselves in to a new situation, but I promise we don't bite. One of my favorite things about The 7 Line Army is watching strong friendships form from it.

Postseason Tailgates At Citi Field!

We'll be tailgating in our usual spot in the Marina Lot before all home Postseason games! Fans should be rolling in at least 4 hours before first pitch. BE THERE! As always, you don't need to be sitting with The 7 Line Army to tailgate together.
