Coach Jonathan Reid checked in last night. The 7 Line little league squad is now 4-0 on the season out in Bayside. Actually, every team in the division is undefeated. Little did I know, they don't keep score in this age group.
Each team's full lineup bats twice, then the ballgame is over. They're still learning the game, so each kid gets the same amount of time in. I like it.
We still gotta get The 7 Line Army out there to cheer on the kids. How does Sunday May 20th sound? The game starts at 1pm at Crocheron Park in Bayside. Hit a bar on Bell Blvd afterwards to watch the end of the Mets game?
We'll be spending Opening Weekend in Houston! Hopefully you'll be one of the 1,300 Mets fans kicking the season off with us in Texas! The Astros didn't have enough availability to fit us for Opening Day, so we locked up 1,300 tickets to game 2 of the season on March 29th.
