I love Twitter. It's probably my favorite social media platform of the bunch. When anything of substance happens in the World, good or bad, it's up there in seconds. Of course tweetsters chime in with their own little take on whatever is going on. The Mets signing Jose Bautista on Tuesday was no different. Here are some of the reactions.
*wakes up from a coma*

Met Fan: How have the Mets been doing?
Doctor: They’re not doing too badly. They recently signed Adrian Gonzalez, Jose Bautista and Jose Reyes.
Met Fan: Wow really?! Sandy is one hell of a GM.
Doctor: You do realize...nevermind. Glad you’re back with us. pic.twitter.com/tqeDGkzXfy
I told Jose Bautista to sign with the Mets many years ago and he finally listened, what a great man pic.twitter.com/aKtDONoyfw

With Jose Bautista added to a roster featuring Adrian Gonzalez, Jay Bruce, and Jose Reyes, the Mets offense is going to be sweet in 2011.

The Mets can’t possibly sign Bautista. I just discovered he has me blocked on Twitter.......
— Shannon (@Miss_Met) May 22, 2018
Maybe Shannon should make a sign? Worked for this kid.
The 2018 #Mets lineup includes Devin Mesoroco, Jose Reyes, Adrian Gonzalez, Jay Bruce and Jose Bautista.

Can’t wait for the 2028 Mets, with Buster Posey, Anthony Rizzo, Manny Machado, Mookie Betts and David Wright (once he gets cleared to start baseball activities).
I can't wait for September when the #Mets' starting lineup features Rafael Palmeiro, Jose Bautista, Adrian Gonzalez, Jose Reyes and Tim Tebow. https://t.co/kYeXBoVJHN

And a lot of people had this reaction. Even though @Miss_Met is blocked, his account follows like a billion other people.
I just went to follow Jose Bautista, because I try to follow all the Mets on twitter and realized he already follows me pic.twitter.com/CwyrxC7qxy

Since you're STILL paying Bobby Bonilla, you might want to check what he's up to also.
— Jonathan Rosen🐰 🧛♂️ (@houseofrosen) May 22, 2018
And somewhere Tim Tebow is practising bat flips and putting miracle grow on his beard #mets
— Mike Crerar (@mshreer79) May 22, 2018
If he succeeds it's good for the Mets
— Ronald Smith (@Just_Ron10) May 22, 2018
If he fails The Mets can just cut him
All and all, it's a no lose situation
I'm down for it
We'll be spending Opening Weekend in Houston! Hopefully you'll be one of the 1,300 Mets fans kicking the season off with us in Texas! The Astros didn't have enough availability to fit us for Opening Day, so we locked up 1,300 tickets to game 2 of the season on March 29th.
