Via: LI DUCKS Backman replaces Kevin Baez, who signed with the Rockland Boulders of the Can-Am League earlier this week.
“Kevin Baez is the winningest manager in Ducks history and our organization respects him tremendously,” said Ducks President/GM Michael Pfaff. “Entering our 20th Anniversary Season, it is time for the Ducks to move in a new direction, and we are very excited about our future with Wally Backman.”
Congrats to Wally and the Ducks in this new chapter. I try to hit at least a couple Ducks games a year with the fam. Affordable tickets and concessions, no bad seat, great atmosphere for the kids, free parking, the list goes on.
I have toyed with the idea of bringing The 7 Line Army out for an outing. We have a pretty stacked schedule this year, but maybe we should get the wheels turning....
If we organized an outing to a @LIDucks game next season. Would you wanna go?
