This Friday will be 621 days since our kiosk at Citi Field was open for business. Dom Smith closed out the 2019 season on September 29th with a 3 run walk off homer in the bottom of the 11th, and the year came to a close.
We all know what happened after that.
Baseball did eventually return in 2020, and as you know, the fans did not. Of course that included our little shop in center field.
Since the capacity restrictions are being lifted, and a sense of normalcy is coming back to the ballpark, we're glad to say... our doors will be open for business starting this Friday night!
We had stocked up thinking there was going to be a season last year, so some of the goods are on the older side, BUT they'll be up to 50% off while supplies last. Basically anything you see on the rack outside the kiosk will be discounted.
We can't thank the legions of Mets fans enough that kept us afloat during all this. The kiosk has been a part of our brand since 2014, and we'll be proud to see the lights on again.
Swing by if you'll be at any of the games soon.
THANK YOU!
P.S. all of this is dependent on weather. You may have noticed that we've been closed in the past when it's raining or days with high winds. Where we're situated in the ballpark, the merch can get destroyed, and we need to be mindful of that.
Your eyes do not deceive you, we don't have any available Mets 2024 Postseason merch. It's not that we don't have designs ready to go, we just aren't allowed to release them for another 2 weeks. Fanatics gets an exclusive 2 week window on licensed merch.
