Happy New Year! The ball has dropped, the champagne is kicked and the time has come to impatiently wait for Spring Training to begin. Just 48 days until pitchers and catchers report.
Are we foolishly predicting a trip to the World Series or NL East pennant in 2015? No. Are we aiming for one? Of course. Each new year has fan bases across the board clamoring for their team to succeed. That's why we're fans. We want our team to be on top. Watching other teams and their fans celebrate in October is something we've been missing for a while now in Queens. We're ready.
Is this the year we get back in the mix? Who knows. If you don't aim high, why aim at all? LET'S GO METS 2015!
