Miss your summer crew? Looking to brush the dust off the old skis or snowboard? How about a meet up before the Spring Training games start?!?!?Wait, I don't get it, isn't The 7 Line Army a baseball thing? Yes, but we're also heavily rooted in this community we've created. We aren't selling anything here. Just putting the wheels in motion to try and get everyone together for some winter fun about 2 hours north of Queens.
We've been friends with the Hunter Mountain folks for a number of years and they've agreed to give you all a great discount on Saturday February 28th. A weekend ticket normally costs $76 and they're offering The 7 Line Army them for just $50. PURCHASE YOUR LIFT TICKET HERE.
If hitting the slopes isn't your thing, there are a ton of other activities to do in the area. Snowmobiling, zip line adventure, snow tubing… CLICK HERE FOR INFO
After skiing we'll be meeting up in the mountain lodge for their epic happy hour. We've visited many mountains and their lodge is arguably the best out there. Always a great time.
WHERE TO STAY:
The Villa Vosilla in Tannersville(roughly 5 minutes from the Mountain) is offering 15% off rooms when youmention "The 7 Line Army trip" while placing your reservation. They have a pool, restaurant, bar and free breakfast.
There are also a number of other spots in the area depending on your price range and group size:
Sunview Motel
Snowed Inn
The Mansion House at Alfie’s
Washington Irving Inn
Hunter Inn
Scribner Hollow Lodge
Kaatskill Mountain Club Hotel & Spa
AFTER PARTY:
At night we'll be meeting up at the Spinning Room in Tannersville. They're a local spot owned by our friends who also happen to be big Mets fans. They have great burgers, drink specials and a DJ every Saturday night. Definitely the spot to hit after a full day at the Mountain.
WHAT WE RECOMMEND:
The lifts will open at 8:30am. You'll want to be there early to enjoy the full day and get the most out of your trip. If you can, get your hotel for Friday AND Saturday night. Arrive Friday evening and head back home on Sunday. Get the most out of the trip.
Hope you'll meet us up there!
The 7 Line Run Club couldn't be happier to be a part of the Mets official Spring Training 5K! We love the Mets and love to run, so it's great to partner up on such a fun, positive, healthy, and rewarding event. We can't think of a better way to kick off the baseball season. Come run (or walk) with us!
