We're back, and bringing on a very special guest!
Orange and Blue Thing: Season 2 kicks off two weeks from today, and Darren and I will be joined by new Mets skipper Mickey Callaway.
On October 23, Callaway was named the 21st manager in Mets history, and we'll talk to him about the interview process, his player-first approach, and how he expects to change the culture on Roosevelt Avenue. Plus, we'll be letting some commenters submit some questions, so make sure you tune into the live show and you could see Mickey answer your question on the air.
If you're new to the party, Orange and Blue Thing is our weekly show that airs on Facebook Live and doubles as an audio podcast. It covers all things involved with our team. The topics run the gamut, from on-field performance to lifestyle of being a Mets fan. It's a blast, and we're really excited to be back for a second season.
Thanks to the Mets for making Mickey available. Darren has spent the fall lining up a lot of great guests, so this is just the beginning.
Season 2 premieres Thursday, December 28 at 6:00 PM Eastern on Facebook.com/The7Line. Like the page if you haven't already, and set yourself up for notifications for when we're live.
To catch up on Season 1, which includes chats with Mike Piazza, Curtis Granderson, Paul LoDuca, Kevin Burkhardt, and more, check out the video archive here, and our audio archive on both SoundCloud and iTunes.
Our 4rd trip to Fenway is set for Monday May 19th. We're rolling with 1,000 fans, and we'd love to see as many of your amazin' faces at the pre-game as possible. Drinks specials, bowling, pool tables, and more.
Swing by the K Korner on Friday May 9th before the Mets take on the Cubs. If you're sitting with us or not, you can enjoy exclusive specials on Montauk draft beers by rocking T7L merch to the bar.
We're kicking the day off on Saturday April 26th with some miles around DC. Start your morning off on a positive foot, then sightsee or do whatever else you have planned before the Mets/T7LA pre-game party. We picked a slightly shorter route than our usual fun runs. JOIN US!
