As luck would have it, the Royals just started up a new fan section for 2019, and their schedule aligns with The 7 Line Army's outing on Saturday August 17th. This should be fun.

They're calling the group "The Keep", and it includes a 15 game package for die-hard Royals fans. Groups like this run by a team tend to feel a little forced to me, but their plan seems like it has legs.
Hopefully a few dedicated members grab the reigns, become direct ambassadors between the fans and organization, and handle things in a way where it's more of their own. In my opinion, that's the only way groups like this can work.

Yo, that's us. By the time we get to KC, it will be The 7 Line Army's 104th outing, and just the 1st time going up against a rival fan group.
So this is a direct message to the inaugural members of The Keep. You'll have 4 months of games to get your asses in gear. Rally your troops, build up some chants, and get fired up before we get there. I've been dying to go back and forth with another fan bases group at a game. Respectfully, and friendly of course. We'll be over in RF, and they hold it down in left center. We should be able to get some chants going across the park.
Good on the Royals for getting this going. Hopefully more teams latch on to the idea. I'd love to see it. It's kind of hard to get off the ground when a team is running it, but if left in the right hands, it can be very cool. Anything to get more fans together, smiling, cheering, meeting new people, and taking in the best sport in the world as a group is a great thing.
If you want to join us, make sure you're on our mailing list. We'll keep you in the loop when we have our on sale date/time ready to announce.
We'll be spending Opening Weekend in Houston! Hopefully you'll be one of the 1,300 Mets fans kicking the season off with us in Texas! The Astros didn't have enough availability to fit us for Opening Day, so we locked up 1,300 tickets to game 2 of the season on March 29th.
